Prana Holistic Health

Psychologist - Yoga & Meditation Teacher - Activist

Meet The Mind Behind The Movement

Hi, I'm Giulia, a psychologist, yoga teacher, activist, and the founder of Prana Holistic Health - a project born from my passion for deepening our understanding of ourselves and how we relate to the world around us.

Giulia Bertone, founder of Prana Holistic Health

prāṇa (प्राण) is the Sanskrit word for breath, and is considered the life-giving force, the universal energy that flows within and among us, connecting us with all other living beings

My interest in wellbeing and what might hinder individuals from having fulfilling lives started at a young age, as the theme of social justice became very important to me. This gradually developed into a deeper interest into the psyche and the factors that determine one's potential to find meaning, peace and joy.

Where it begun

Over the years, I have delved into the study of psychology, philosophy, sociology, yoga, mindfulness and meditation - fields which continue to shape the way I listen, support and guide others.

Shaping a practice

Eventually came the birth of Prana, which in Sanskrit translates to "the universal energy that flows within and among us, connecting us with all other living beings" - a term which encompasses my vision of health: being in touch with what is beyond matter - our inner self - as well as having meaningful relationships.

How I Work

Drawing inspiration and knowledge from various practices, I have expanded my capacity to accompany others in their own journey. Knowing that each individual may benefit from different modalities, I use evidence-based practices, including psychotherapy, yoga, breathwork, meditation and mindfulness, to support my clients and students in cultivating self-awareness, compassion and meaning, both within themselves and within their wider community.

Psychotherapy services in Malta by Giulia Bertone

Psychotherapy

A guided process of exploring your emotions, relationships, and unconscious patterns to deepen self-understanding. Psychotherapy can help with struggles including low self-esteem, stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, loss, trauma and shame amongst other challenges.

From my personal, academic and professional experiences,
I have learned that no matter how far the light at the end of  the tunnel seems to be, life can shift in ways you would have never expected.
With this firm belief which I carry in my heart, my intention is to guide others to find their own light.
